How We Got Here
You have found the latest tool in your search for freedom from foot, heel and leg pain. The FootRest Pillow (Patent Pending) was developed as a remedy for my case of Plantar Fasciitis resulting from climbing 250ft wind turbines for five years straight.
I found that putting some type of pillow at the foot of my bed, under the covers with the flat side facing my foot gave me great relief. I used the flat side of the pillow to stretch my foot against, especially first thing in the morning for a few minutes before getting out of bed. And it keeps the covers from pressing down the feet. I shaped the angled side to allow for laying my feet over when sleeping or reading on my belly.
After I had perfected the design, I found a company to cut the proper foam to my specs and I loved the result. My foot problems were solved! I had my wife and some friends try it and they all loved it too!
Next I joined forces with Clarkson University in New York to develop the product, and The Arc NY Herkimer Industries to make pillowcases and do shipping.
